Pardon my absence over the last few days, the little munchkins thought it would be a great idea to both get sick in the same week, with different illnesses, both which required my full attention, and it wasn’t just the one day kind of sickness, it was the full 4-5 days, stay home from work, up all night kind of sickness….and it wasn’t just the “oh they have strep, or the flu.” kind of sickness. It was the “WTH is wrong with my kid?” kind of sickness.
Thank goodness I had Sherman there to help me keep a watchful eye on one while I attended to the other.
Regardless, they are now, dare I say it, both better, and we can all get back to normal.
Even poor Sherman was feeling under the weather because he lost 2 nails on his right front paw due to his SLO. For those of you who do not know, Sherman suffers from a condition called symmetrical lupoid onychodystrophy and you can read more about that
here. It’s been over a year since we have had any issues with this, and of course it would happen at the worst possible time, but I was able to get him in to the vet and get him taken care of.
(you can’t see the bad nails, but this is the paw, and the bandage was just my added touch for the picture.)
Sherman is, dare I say it, feeling much now too.
So as you can see, there wasn’t much time for mischief in our house this past week, and if there was, I didn’t see it happening., I saw Leroy doing a lot of this:
Which makes me think he will have some mischief catching up to do this week. Lucky me.
