Father’s Day is this Sunday! Can you believe it?
Well I can’t and if you are anything like me you are scrambling around trying to find that perfect gift for your Dad, or for the father of your children, or for the father figure in your life.
I think I know what I am getting my husband, however I have no idea what I am getting for my Dad. He has been my Dad for 37 years which means I have gotten him 37 presents for Father’s Day. I think I have gotten everything there is to get him for Father’s Day. Maybe I should get him award for Father’s Day. An award for being married to my mother for 50 years.
50 years this Saturday, he has been married to mother. God bless his heart.
Maybe I should get him a halo.
Alright, I’m getting way off track here.
Back to the point of this post.

My dad has requested a dinner of applesauce, Le Seur peas, salt and vinegar chips and cherry pie. I guess it doesn’t get much simpler than that! If only my stepdad could be so easy!
Jen says:
Now that is a dinner request that I have never heard before! Salt and vinegar chips-YUM! Cherry pie YUM! I don’t know what Le Seur peas are:)))

Good reminder. Time to start thinking about father’s day gift. I’ll check out the free card on shutterfly.

50 years is quite a milestone! Congrats to your parents. I actually found a card with a Chessie on it for Father’s Day. Not that my Dad will notice or care…lol. Too bad I didn’t procrastinate, because then I could have made my own.
Jen says:
Thank you, they have done good! A card with a Chessie-not that’s a good find!
