  • Amy@GoPetFriendly says:

We’ve been spending some time with Shamus the Newf and I have to say, Sherman looks to be a champion frother in comparison. Not that I’m complaining. I wonder if frothing is an olympic event?

    June 27, 2012 at 10:08 pm
    • Jen says:

LOL. Sherman does slobber a bit more than some other Newfs I have encountered. Leroy doesn’t drool as much as Sherman, not even close.

If it’s not an olympic event yet, I am sure we can do something about that!

I would have to say neither one of mine froth and Sherman looks like he has it mastered. Lexie usually gets the long strings and Mica doesn’t really drool much at all, Except when eating a good treat. We get ones wrapped in liver. Mica likes to hold them between her front paws and lick them for several minutes to savor every bit of flavor before biting in to eat. When she looks up after eating her mouth, chin, legs, and neck are solid clear goop. I will use goop because there are no bubbles. I love that she takes time to enjoy what she’s eating.
