Even Big Guys Sleep With Teddy Bears
Leroy’s a pretty tough dog to buy for.
He’s really not that interested in toys.
He plays with them for 30 seconds and then he is done.
He’ll grab his favorite toy, bring it up to you and throw it in the air, try to catch it and miss and then walk away.
That is about the extent of his toy time.
I like to think that he just has a very short attention span.
My husband agrees.
However, when I was shopping for Leroy’s present the other day this floppy rabbit caught my eye.
It’s cute and soft and floppy.
I looked at it and thought’ “He’ll never play with it” and I walked away.
A few minutes later I went back and grabbed it.
When I gave it to Leroy the next day he did just what I thought he would do.
He grabbed it, ran around the house once with it, flung it up in the air, tried to catch it, failed miserably and walked away.
Done.
Until I went downstairs a few hours later and saw this

Also, Moses, too, is terrible at catching things tossed to him – he doesn’t really try very enthusiastically, anyway. Alma on the other hand, gives it her best effort and is usually successful.
