If dogs sweat through their paws and we have had one of the hottest summers on record so far this year, I wonder what Sherman’s paws smell like.
Judging by the look on his face I would have to say that they do not smell like roses.

Hmmm…the only stinky paws mom has told me about are the ones that smell like a freshly mowed lawn. Usually it is my ears that start to smell when I swim too much

Too funny! His expression is perfect. I’ve heard a few times dog paws smell like crackers or popcorn. Perhaps that’s why some dogs like to chew on their feet? Lol

Mine don’t really get a chance to get too smelly cos when we run in the morning mine get wet from people’s sprinklers then I get them all mucky (cos they’re white there’s no kidding Mum), so I usually get the hose on my paws when we get back – I have a drink too, so it’s kinda refreshing!

I’m a weirdo and smell Elka pretty frequently. Her paws tend to smell kind of like hay or dry grass (in a good way!)

I know the part of him that smells is his chin. It’s so wet all the time, sometimes it smells mildewy. ??

Kelli, our Bea Girl has a very stinky face because she is wet all the time there too. Even a bib doesn’t help help lol. She is Stinky Face Girl.

Good point, I usually like the way Sampson’s paws smell (a nice earthy smell) unless he’s stepped in something. LOL

I only notice Honey’s paws sweating when she’s a little anxious at the vet. We can see the damp paw prints on the floor.
But I always found paws taste like Fritos. I wouldn’t eat Fritos if you paid me. But I love the smell of dog feet.

Ok, now back to the subject at paw. Dudes, if that is true, than, living in the tropics with high heat and humidity for half the year… my paws might prove embarrassing! Mom’s going to check today… although she wants you to know that over the years, she cannot remember any issues in that area!
