Wordless Wednesday. Waiting For The Bus

Sherman waited for the bus with the kids today.

I tried to sneak him on the bus but the bus driver told me no dogs were allowed on the bus. I told her he wasn’t a dog he was a bear. She said bears weren’t allowed on the bus either, and then she drove away with my kids.

Did you tell her that was discrimination, that he wasn’t a dog or a bear he is in fact a body guard. I bet body guards are allowed on the bus!

My Vickies favorite pictures in the world are of kids with a dog from behind.

Sorry you didn’t get to go with them to school but I bet you can be there at the bus stop to pick them up after.

I just read this post and yesterdays and let me tell you I want to beat the hell out of that teacher and principal. As we say in the South- OH HELL NO!! Anyway, that’s horrible. Your kids are beyond precious and the love for animals that you are teaching them is wonderful. The only thing that got me through those awful middle school years was my cat. She lived to be 18 and died while I was at a conference as an adult professional. I sobbed like a baby and called my boss and did not make an appearance at dinner. I firmly believe that kids should confide in their pets. It makes them feel better and quite frankly the pets don’t want to “fix” it like a parent might want to. Sometimes you just want to say it out loud you know. And yes dogs are fabulous at breaking the ice!

    Stay strong Mamma Bear!

Awww, thank you for the kind words. I am a firm believer that if it is possible to have a pet when you have kids, it does make a difference!

Oooooh crap, dis just makes me all blubbery. Not like da last post…which pissed me off. I can never ever get tired of seein’ kids with their animals, it’s just a beautiful thing to see…even though da bus driver is a weirdo not lettin’ da boys on.

Nows, My Girl was bullied at school by a boy…he did it to udder kids too. He had a bad home life and to be blunt da mom could care less bout him and she sucks as a mom (not da we has greatest mom). But da school was awesome gettin’ da job done to protect da kids. Eventually da kid was sent to a reform school fur a year.

I can’t believe your girl was bullied too, and by a boy! I am glad to hear that the school was on top of it and they took measures to make the bullying stop. I wish that was always the case, as it should be!

Why is your daughter wearing a French Bulldog? Do they not make girls’ clothes with Big Brown Newfies on them? Other than that, your photos are adorable :)

LMAO! No they do not make clothes with a brown Newfie on it, can you believe it? It was either a cat of a Frenchie, obviously the Frenchie won:)

These photos warm my heart. In an hour, we have to walk (thankfully very close by) to the school and pick up A. from his first day of KG. I think Buster will walk with us. :) If I get a photo, maybe I’ll join the blog hop. Hope your kids had a wonderful day!! :)

Too bad…I bet the kids would have enjoyed having Sherman on the bus. In October our bus station has a service animal training day. We go to the bus station and our guide dog pups get to ride the bus, use the ramp, and they also get us free tickets into Knott’s Berry Farm.
