Wow! My cat creates a pile like that and so does Sydney. It cracks me up that our long haired cat and dog don’t shed as much as the short haired pets.

We have awesome grooming tools and everyone loves grooming days :)

I think my Kuvasz sister sheds a bit more than a Newfie but you guys are all a bunch of fur – I don’t really shed so my sister has to make up for that fur deficit!

Actually the vacuum is attached to my back:) Seriously though my vacuum cleaner just took a poop. I need to get it fixed. I go through vacuum cleaners like crazy, but my last one lasted over a year which is a record!

Have you thought about knitting that into a sweater? I did see something on PBS once where a woman had done that with her dog’s fur. It was a seriously messed up looking sweater – and looked itchy to boot!

Do they tend to shed more at different times of the year? I have always wanted a newfie, but don’t know that much of the specifics about them.

They shed all year, but they usually shed the most in the fall and spring.
