Frozen Slobber. It Could Poke Your Eye Out.

Sometimes in the winter, when temperatures drop below freezing, slobber freezes before it has time to hit the ground.

It will just freeze in mid-drip.

And sometimes when you go to fling that frozen slobber, it lands somewhere you didn’t intend for it to land.

In these cases one must be careful that one does not poke their eye out because that would just be bad andĀ embarrassing.

Neat! Sorry we have never had that happen. Mica doesn’t really slobber unless their is food and when she drinks but that is a waterfall. Lexie seldom slobbers and drinks dainty ( I don’t know why) but neither have slobbered out in the cold. He looks really cute, love the expression.

:-) Fortunately, Jasmine’s slobber (not that she ever gets any!) seems to always make a precision landing over her nose. She does often get an icicle goatee, though. And when she was little, all her legs and belly would have icicles on them.

Oh my! Not being a dog that slobbers that seems like quite the problem!

Slobcicles. Just another joy of a relentlessly huge dog.

O-M-D…I had no idea slobber could freeze in mid-drop! That is unbelieveable (and quite funny when you’re caught with it all over your face)! BOL

For some reason – the thought of frozen slobber doesn’t make me queasy! I think it would be pretty cool and plus you could play ‘name that shape’!!

Oh dear… Frozen slobber strikes me as much less disgusting. At least it wouldn’t be wet and get all over one’s pants. That’s something, right? Poor boy…

Rooo I’ve never heard of frozen slobber before! Then again, I’m not the slobbery type so I don’t have much first paw experience! *waggy tail*

That’s just too funny. Please be careful. It would be hard to explain to the vet that you poked your eye out with frozen slobber.

LOL! I remember those days. My friend Beth had a Great Dane named Gabe and the slobber was equally as deadly. It always made for an interesting walk to see where it would end up.

Hoping all is well with Sherman Jen. Been thinking about him ever since you posted your concerns about him. He is in my prayers.
