The other day day I was trying to think of one word that would describe Sherman and Leroy.
One word.
Now that’s hard.
For Leroy I came up with a whole mess of words because he’s complex and it was tough to narrow him down to just to one word, but majestic stuck out because every time I look at him I am in awe of his dogness beauty.
Sherman was easy because he wears his heart on his sleeve.
So what about you? Can you describe your dog in one word?

Bailey says:
I’m too wordy.
thepetmuseum says:
For our Briar? Sure: “Dandy.”
Mollie and Alfie says:
That is super hard. I’ll have to think on that one
Mollie and Alfie
Jodi says:
Sampson would either be Sweet, or Loyal like your Sherman.
Is it bad to sum Delilah up as Crazy? LOL
Girl’s weekend, coming up!!!
Clowie says:
I asked my biped and she says it’s easy to pick one word for when I was a puppy – determined. But it’s much harder now and she’d probably pick loyal.
we three doxies says:
Those are PERFECT words fur Sherman and Leroy! Complex would has also been just fine fur Leroy too.
My mum can’t think of just one word fur me…so I ask you…what would MY one word be?
Dis would be an awesome blog post!

Kolchak, Felix & Jodi says:
After two years, I still haven’t mastered “wordless Wednesday”, so I doubt I can reign in my wordiness, but it’s a really cool idea, so I’m definitely going to try.
Nichole says:
You picked 2 wonderful words for the babes!
caren gittleman says:
CRAZY
Kirby says:
Adoring
emma says:
Mom says the best word for me is goofball but that doesn’t capture my sweet, loving side. One word is just not enough.
Jen K says:
Love your choice for Sherman!
For Moses: steady
For Alma: spirited
Jen says:
Love, love, love your words!!!
Julie says:
I would have to describe Cali as SWEET – every person that meets her always says, “Oh, she’s so sweet!”.
rottrover says:
Mom wants to just reach through the computer and hug Mr. Sherman! Mom calls us lots of things, but I’m HANDSOME and Ruby is SILLY! Just sayin’.
-Bart
SUGAR: Golden Woofs says:
Woof! Woof! Mom says simply my name SUGAR (which has hidden meaning behind it). Lots of Golden woofs, Sugar
SchipAlong says:
Without a doubt, Suki’s word is trouble lol.
Jackie Bouchard says:
That’s a toughie. I’d probably say “sweet” but since she *really* doesn’t like strangers they might not agree with me. I might have to say “misunderstood.” But I think I’ll stick with sweet!
FiveSibesMom says:
Perfect!

Kelly says:
Protective!
Sam says:
Conceited :-p
I love my big headed dog and his self-centered view of the world.
Taryn says:
Let’s see….
Jimmy – Bossy
Wilson – Gentleman
Kimberly, The Fur Mom says:
Great idea!
Rodrigo – Joyful – he seems to be so happy all the time; he’s soaks up every experience.
Sydney – Princess – she’s my baby and loves to be snuggled, hugged, and loved on. She’s very dainty outside and inside and then she does something that reminds me “yep, she’s a dog.”
Blue – Silly – he can be sleepy and all I have to do is make a noise or kiss him all over his face to get him to play again; he’s a hoot.
Gizmo (@GizmoGeodog) says:
Your words are perfect…don’t laugh, but Gizmo’s word is Scruffy…That is the perfect word for him and i say with loads of love…He’s scruffy to look at and there’s nothing formal, dignified or restrained about him…he’s just a goofy, fun loving scruffy little guy…
LiveLoveAndBark.com says:
Fuzzy.
Diana Stoll says:
Glory = Lovebug
Shaftoe = Magnificent
KB says:
Great question! For R, I’d choose “enthusiastic”. For Shyla, oh my, this is very hard because she’s still such a mixture of emotions. But, I think that “sensitive” would be my one word now. I wonder if that would still be the word for Shyla next year? She’s changing so fast.
tylersat99 says:
Lexie – Guardian
Mica – Lover

JD maybe. Jasmine? Not gonna happen. Very complex soul, one word will never get it.
Misaki says:
I think mummy would describe me as ‘bouncy’
Eva or sometimes Priscilla says:
Love your Majestic Leroy and Loyal Sherman!
For Eva, dainty is the word.
melF says:
I think you described Leroy and Sherman perfectly. Every time I see Sherman’s face he looks so endearing and concerned about you. Loyal definitely fits him. Leroy just is majestic. Regal too.
I’m not sure I can completely narrow Daisy, Jasper and Cupcake to one word, but these would be in my list:
Daisy – Gentle
Jasper – Fun
Cupcake – Sassy
The Heartbeats says:
Lucy- joyous
Calhoun- charming
Since he’s staying with me right now, McIver- gallant
Lucy is the happiest dog I know. She loves her toys, her food and her mamma. She loves life.
Calhoun can charm anyone with his face, his wiggle, and his friendly demeanor. He can melt his mamma with one look.
McIver has always been my knight in shining armor. He protects me- even when I might not need it! He walks with the pride of a medieval knight.
What a fun game!

Misty is alpha in every sense. The other dogs have different words depending on the day and their mood.
Jen says:
Frenetic!
Elizabeth says:
That would be hard because you could take it in many different directions. I think you nailed it though.
Mcoloonough Ceili says:
hyper
Jessica @ YouDidWhatWithYourWeiner says:
Great shots and great adjectives. I think mine for Chester and Gretel would be as “regal”. We often call Gretel he noodle. She can be pretty submissive and turns into this limp noodle when you go to pick her up or put her harness on. It’s cute except for when I am in a hurry
I think Chester’s word is Stoic or Distinguished.
Pup Fan says:
Hmmm…. for Bella: goofy. Or smushy. We often call her a smush when she’s being affectionate.
For Tavish: bouncy!
