Pawing It Forward With Frosty Paws
It might be freezing cold outside but you can bet that I’m not missing out on my all-time favorite snack at this time of the year.
Even though my body is cold my taste buds still long for a nice big bowl of ice cream a few times a week which is when I am called Frosty Fingers.
But I’m not suppose to be talking about human ice cream here, I’m suppose to be talking about dog ice cream!
The very cool people from Frosty Paws asked if we would be interested in giving away some free coupons for their ever so tasty ice cream made just for dogs and of course I said yes, because who doesn’t want to give away free ice cream to dogs?
Frosty Paws makes a great occasional treat for dogs who like to change things up a bit. The ice cream is fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals with no added sugar, artificial flavors or colors and come in 2 flavors, Original and Peanut Butter. Yum!
I’ve given the boys Frosty Paws a few times and with one exception, they really enjoyed the nice cool treat. The exception was that Sherman swallowed his Frosty Paw whole and I think the coldness shocked his throat because as fast as he swallowed it, it came back up………and then he ate it again.
Pawing The Frosty Goodness Forward.
I was given 10 Frosty Paws prize packages to give away: The adorable Frosty Paws mascot and (2) coupons for a box containing (4) Frosty Paws.
To put a different spin on this instead of giving away 10 of these prize packages I have decided to paw it forward. What I mean by that is, I have chosen 3 bloggers who have dogs that I think would enjoy this cool treat. I have sent them each (2) prize packages, (1) for their dog and (1) for them to give away to another blogger, family member or friend of their choice.
I sent the packages off today to the following blogs:
Heart Like a Dog because Sampson and Delilah get their white bones stuffed with frozen goodness all the time and one time I would like Jodi to pack them with ice cream and tell them it was from Jenny Jugs.
The Chronicles of Woo-because sometimes Phantom just doesn’t want to eat and maybe he would be interested in something nice and cool like this. If not I’m sure his 3 other housemates would have no problem snacking on a cup of Frosty Paws!
Dexter the Wonder Dog-because Dex has been taking some really long walks with his Mom lately and he deserves a nice cool treat and………… I want to see this handsome lab eat ice cream. I just know it will make me smile!
Above bloggers: I sent (1) box to each of you. In the box will be (2) Frosty Paws mascots, (4) coupons and a prepaid shipping box for you to pass along a Frosty Paws prize package to someone else. (Don’t worry I sent a letter with your package explaining it again and I labeled your envelopes with sticky notes and a smiley face:)
I tried to not send Frosty Paws to anyone who has already given them away, if I missed your post or if you haven’t done it yet, sorry!
BUT WAIT………THERE’S MORE!
If you did the math correctly you would realize that I have (4) prize packs left to give away, so here’s the deal:
Leave a comment below telling me what your dogs favorite snack is, (2) winners will randomly be chosen and I will send you (2) prize packs each. One for you and one for you to give away to whomever you choose!
Open to US residents only because Frosty Paws are only available in the United States. CONTEST OPEN 2/1/13-2/5/13
CONGRATULATIONS TO FROSTY PAWS WINNERS VICKI AND BLUEBERRY!!!
***Winners have be notified by email and will be receiving their Frosty Paws package soon!
**Disclaimer. I was provided the above Frosty Paws products by Frosty Paws. All opinions expressed here are mine and mine only. Please note that the Frosty Paws mascot is for humans and is not suitable for dogs.

February 1, 2013 at 9:25 am (138 days ago)Cool, no pun intended! We love Frosty Paws but usually we only get them on special occasions and the time of year does not matter. I think our absolute favorite snack is chicken jerky, but there really isn’t a snack that we don’t like. I sure would like to get my paws on some frosty paws for my sister and I, and it would be fun to share with a blogging friend as well

February 1, 2013 at 9:29 am (138 days ago)Jen Gizmo got lucky and won a Frosty Paws prize from his pal Garth, so we haven’t entered, but we just got our package and we’ll be using a coupon next trip to the store…the stuffie is so adorable I haven’t given it to him, knowing just how quickly he’d de-stuff it…I like that you’ve passed on a give-away set to your winners…that was a clever idea

February 1, 2013 at 7:57 pm (137 days ago)I’ve seen these before and thought about buying them for the chi’s. Never did though, and I’m not really sure why. This post has me craving ice cream now, so I’m thinking I might just have to stop by and pick some up for me and the boys.
Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
February 1, 2013 at 8:52 pm (137 days ago)Aren’t you just the sweetest to think to share the Frosty Paws with us? Believe it or not, Phantom LOVES ice cream. He has had Frosty Paws too and will be thrilled to get to lick some more of it. Thank you again for being so kind and thoughtful.

February 4, 2013 at 5:58 pm (134 days ago)Fun! We’ve had doggy ice cream before, but I don’t think we’ve had the Frosty Paws brand. The boys love it! Their favorite treat…hmmm…that’s a hard one. I think it’s whatever is on my dinner plate at the time.

February 5, 2013 at 11:21 am (134 days ago)Paying it forward is such a nice jester! I have 3 dogs, and 2 of them are having birthdays this week. I was looking online to find a coupon for the Frosty Paws and came across this, what a great thing your doing! My dogs favorite treats are any table scraps that I allow them to have. Although it’s not often, they do love when they get them!
We will be trying out the Frosty Paws this week, and I’m sure as with anything all 3 of them will just love them!
