Dog Joint Supplements Are Serious Business Around Here. #NaturalStride

ns-hipjoint-logo-300x114

Last month I talked about a new joint supplement that I have been giving Sherman called Natural Stride. After trying several joint supplements over the last year this seems to be the one that I like the best and the one that I have seen the best results with.

I’m being totally serious too.

I wouldn’t lie to you about joint supplements.

Sherman’s going to be on joint supplements for the rest of his life because of the arthritis in his knee and he needs something that works well and something that I feel good about giving him, so joint supplements are very serious business for Sherman and I, and they should be serious business for any dog that has orthopedic issues or has the potential to have orthopedic issues.

Now, just to show you how serious I am, I will let you in on a little experiment I did:

I was giving Sherman the Natural Stride in powder form for about 2 months before I did my first post on this product and I saw great results. After my first post I ran out of the Natural Stride and instead of ordering it I went back to our old supplement because I wanted to see if the Natural Stride was really all that good or if it was just a fluke. After a few weeks of being on our old supplement I noticed that Sherman was limping more when he would get up from napping, and after we would come back from a walk.

I watched him closely for a few days and nothing changed so I ordered some more of the Natural Stride Vet Strength powder.

The same day that I ordered the powder I received a box from Natural Solutions and it was their new Natural Stride in chew form. Perfect timing.

I immediately started the chews that night and a few weeks later the limping was less.

That was enough proof for me. The Natural Stride joint supplement gives us better results than other joint supplements that we have used in the past.

The chews come in regular strength and veterinarian strength and they have the same benefits of the powder form.

They are a bit harder than other joint supplement chews that I’ve given in the past but you can put them in the microwave for a few seconds and they soften right up and Sherman thinks he’s getting a special warm treat right out of the microwave.

I’ve been giving Sherman the maximum dose of the chews because that’s the dose that works best for him. I like the chews but after we are finished with this bag I will most likely stick with the powder form just because it’s easier and between Sherman and Leroy, I’m giving about 7 chews a day.

Since we use more chews and powder than the average size dog, my only hopes would be that, perhaps in the future, Natural Stride will offer their joint supplements for dogs in a larger volume, let’s say in bucket size. 😉

Now….because I take joint supplements so seriously I have a little favor to ask of you. Could you please take a few seconds to fill out this quick and simple survey on joint supplements.

That's great news that joint supplements are helping Sherman. We recommend them for all of our patients - usually glucosamine for preventive care, and green lipped mussel for those who are experiencing arthritis pain.

I'm having trouble with my comments going through on some sites, so this is just a test.

Hi Jan. I found both your comments in my spam folder, so that's why you might not have seen them here right away.

I had a few comments in my spam area that shouldn't of been there so it wasn't just yours.

I'm so glad this is working for Sherman! We also had a gap when we ran out of the powder and put Sheba back on her old supplement. She also seemed to get worse again...but it was subtle so I didn't end up mentioning it in my post. Once we got her back on the Natural Stride she seemed to improve again though!

So glad to hear that Sheba is doing well on the Natural Stride! I was surprised to see such a change when I took Sherman off the supplement and on to something else. It didn't happen right away but his limping was more pronounced.
