Sherman’s New Pep In His Step.

_DSC10441

Last week the kids and Sherman and I headed to my parents house to help them clean up some leaves.

When Sherman realized that he was going for a ride in the car he was a little excited, as he always is.

Sherman has his routine when he gets in the car.

He waits for me to open up the back, puts his front legs up and waits for me to hoist his lower half in.

He’s had this routine since he was 3.

So imagine my surprise when I went to hoist him up last week and before I could get in position he jumped right into the back.

Actually, it wasn’t even a jump.

He basically just walked in without any hesitation.

Not too bad for a dog who has a bum knee and is going to be 8 in 4 days.

And it wasn’t just a fluke thing either.

When we went to get holiday pictures done on Saturday…. he did the same exact thing.

He was actually in the car before Leroy was.

I’m impressed and pretty happy about that.

Who says senior dogs can’t do everything regular dogs can do, even better?

I give a lot of credit to the joint supplement that Sherman is taking, Natural Stride, for his ability to do things better than he was able to do a few years ago.

Along with a healthy diet and regular exercise program, Natural Stride is a big part of Sherman’s senior wellness program that keeps him going strong.

Looking to add a great new joint supplement to your dog’s wellness program? You can read more about Natural Stride here and you can enter to win a StridePack in the rafflecopter below!

And don’t forget, if you don’t win the StridePack this time we have (1) giveaway every month or you can use code BROWN15 and get 15% off your entire Natural Stride purchase now 😉

Oh I'm so glad he's doing well. It's so hard to see our dogs get older. Ace is 8.5 years old and has some joint issues too but is doing well overall.
