They’ve Got It All Wrong

_DSC10641

Sherman and Leroy have taken an interest in football over the past week and they really don’t seem to care that it’s not football season.

Sherman got a new football to replace his old nasty football and he has grown quite attached to it.

Sherman only plays with these types of toys so he grows very attached to the new ones that he gets.

I’m actually getting a little jealous of their relationship.

Leroy took over Sherman’s old nasty football because I think he wanted to piss Sherman off but when he realized Sherman wasn’t phased that he had his football he turned his focus to me.

Leroy’s idea of playing football is more like “catch me if you can”

There’s no passing.

There’s occasionally a tackle.

And there’s plenty of penalties.

Why do I let him talk me into these things?

We’re not even suppose to playing football right now.

It’s baseball season.

I don't know the snow we got makes it seem closer to football than baseball season. :)

Lexie use to destroy any toy within the first half hour of getting it, but Aspen loves his special toys and is careful with them. However he will bring them back inside for tug a war. If you throw one outside he is not going to let you have it back. He does bring them in before bed:)

I wish Mr. Shasta had a sport, in our house it's only and always SQUEAKY TOYS! I try to get ones with different sounds depending where he squeaks so it isn't the same sound OVER & OVER & OVER again. Any suggestions for a new one are always greatly appreciated! :-)

The FurBallz by GoDog (Quaker Pet Group) has a great squeaker in it! It's loud too :)

I'm so in love with those sweet faces! I wish my boys would play ball. My foster does and we love playing fetch with him. He also has a stuffie he carries around with him. Adorable! This is my first week joining in the hop. I just started a new blog for the dogs. Hope you can stop by!
