We had a gorgeous Easter weekend and you could definitely feel Spring in the air.
The birds were chirping and the butterflies were out and about.
One little birdie paid Sherman a little visit.
At first I thought the birdie was possibly looking to grab some fur for his nest but he wound up sticking around a little longer.
Either he was a little cold or he really liked Sherman.
Sherman was oblivious to the whole thing.
Then a butterfly paid a little visit to Leroy.
Smack!
Right in the forehead.
Leroy was a bit perplexed about the butterflies choice of a landing platform but he graciously obliged.
Then the butterfly started to get a little annoying with his fluttering so Leroy ate him.
Then he went and ate the bird off of Sherman just to be a Jerkface.
I was devastated.
Sherman was devastated.
And I’m sure the all the birdies and butterflies that witnessed the murders were also devastated.
THE END.
Kidding. I’m totally kidding.
In case the perfect nature of the bird and the purple butterfly on steroids fooled you-don’t you worry-they are totally fake and neither was harmed during this photo shoot.
Fine.
Leroy tried to eat the paper butterfly once but he was unsuccessful.
p.s. Thank you for the awesome Easter basket ideas! They helped a lot and the kids and the dogs both LOVED their baskets!
