Instead of hitting the stores and fighting with crowds we stayed in and spent a lot of time on the couches watching movies.

Snuggled up, even though it wasn’t that cold outside.

I even fell asleep with Leroy one night.

I went downstairs to say goodnight and the spot next to him just looked so inviting I couldn’t pass it up.

I managed to pull myself away from the couch for a few minutes to put together one of our Christmas trees downstairs. I even put the lights on it but that’s as far as I got.

I’ll get to the ornaments one of these days.

Now I feel ready to tackle the holiday season……..maybe?

I don’t know. It makes me exhausted just thinking about it.

Maybe I need to rest another few days.

I don't blame you - just looking at Leroy makes me want to snuggle up with him too! I'd much rather take a nap with a furry friend than go shopping any day.

Rest and snuggle and the brown guy...yup...best solution to all the chaos of the holiday. And a darn fine Rx if you ask me. ;)
