Normally by the second week of December we’re snuggled up next to our fireplace sipping hot chocolate. I usually have hundreds of pictures of Sherman and Leroy with their faces covered in snow.
My coveralls and snow boots are normally sitting close to the door waiting for the next walk.
I would of already worn all my sweaters by now and I and would be itching to buy a new one.
Well, that’s not happening yet this year. Actually, I wore my flip flops on a walk the other day and our fireplace has yet to burn a single log.
We’re enjoying unseasonably mild temperatures still here in Ohio. In my are we’ve only had 2 days of snow and none of those snowflakes have been able to stick around.
We actually went and got our Christmas tree without coats on Saturday. That’s a first.
I’m not complaining by any means but it’s hard to get some festive shots of Sherman and Leroy.
Living in an area where Santa hats and snow go hand and hand I feel more like it’s Christmas in July than Christmas in December.
I don’t know. I might have to bring out the fake snow if this keeps going.
So for now, we’ll enjoy what we have knowing that February and March will provide more long winter naps than we would like.
Monday Mischief Note-I’m having issue with the linky tool tonight.
