Welcome Back Winter. The Boys Have Missed You

Welcome Back Winter. The Boys Have Missed You

It seems as though Winter has come back to Northeast Ohio.

I’m actually not sure if it was ever really here.

It might have dipped its toes in for a day or so but it hasn’t made it’s presence known like it has in the past.

Some people are fine with that, I’m not one of them.

I think.

Well, at least right this second I’m not one of them.

In 25,0000 seconds I may feel a little differently.

I love a good snow because Sherman and Leroy love a good snow.

When it started snowing the other night I couldn’t get Sherman to come back inside which is odd because Sherman is the one who always wants to come back inside.

But on this night he was perfectly content laying in the middle of the backyard, with the snow falling upon him, chewing on a stick.

Leroy was perfectly content trying to stuff all the snow that he could inside his mouth.

Even the bribe of a cookie didn’t seem to interest them at this point.

“We choose snow over cookies.” was what their look said to me.

Fine by me. You boys enjoy the snow as much as you want, they say there’s plenty on the way this week.

Welcome back winter. The boys have missed you.

p.s. We got about 6 inches of snow the other night which isn’t that much but it’s the most that we’ve gotten all winter. They say there’s more on the way but it all depends on how the clipper moves through. If it moves through our area expect a lot of snow pictures coming your way because I have a lot of ground to make up this year!

I am so glad Leroy and Sherman are enjoying some snow hope they get plenty and it lasts!! We would like some, we got just a dusting on the deck and Aspen was trying to get as much of his body to touch it. Then more rain. I'm forgetting what the white on him looks like with all this mud:(

I hear you. Our snow was short lived as it rained the following day and turned everything to slush!

We haven't had nearly enough snow up by the lake, either. Although we got enough that my morning classes were canceled earlier this week--the dogs were so excited that working from home in the morning was next to impossible. We took a lot of play breaks.

We love the snow, and we are STILL waiting. A few random flakes the other day but really nothing for over a month. We will live vicariously through your pictures until we can make our own snow angels! Have fun boys, and east some extra snow for us.

Leroy says that he will have no problem eating some snow for the girls!

Okay, six inches would be considered a blizzard down here and the entire city would shut down until it melted. It is currently in the 70's so I don't think snow is in the forecast. LOL!

Ha! Well the schools were closed because of it but I think they were just trying to use up their snow days because we haven't had any this year which is really odd! Enjoy your warm weather! I know I'll be hoping for it in a few months!
