I have been working with Sherman and Leroy for quite some time now. 10 years and 6 months to be exact.
I guess you could say that not only are they my dogs but they’re also my team members.
They sit pretty and I take pictures.
They do something silly and I write about it.
I mean let’s face it, there’s no I in team.
Well…. sometimes for Leroy there is but that depends on what type of mood he’s in.
While my team members are amazing awesome, and pretty easy to work with they can be easily distracted sometimes.
Throw in a squirrel and it’s complete mayhem.
Take for instance last week when I was trying to get a picture of Sherman for a blog post.
All I needed him to do was sit next to a doll and look handsome.
But then Fred happened.
Some of you might remember Fred from a few years ago.
Fred’s our resident squirrel. He lives next door in a tree with Ricky the raccoon.
Fred’s cute but he’s also a little annoying.
He steals stuff, he makes a lot of noise and teases the boys because he knows they can’t catch him.
On this day Fred decided to be a comedian.
Fred kept running from tree branch to branch grabbing stuff out of the bird feeder and dropping it on the house.
I don’t think so.
After Fred did this 3 times I watched his sneaky little ass and he only appeared to drop something when he was directly over the house. It was like he calculated it.
And Sherman fell for it every time.
