With a rise of people traveling with pets over the last few years, more and more hotel chains are changing their hotel policies to allow pets to stay in their establishments. unfortunately, as I learned on my recent travels with Leroy, often big dogs do not fall into their pet friendly policy. In most cases, dogs over 50 pounds just aren’t allowed.
So more people don’t mistakenly take pet-friendly as pet-friendly to pets of all sizes, here’s a list of hotel chains that are known to be big dog friendly, and in big dog we’re referring to dogs over 100 pounds. It’s important to note that while these hotels do claim to be big dog friendly, always be safe and call ahead to verify as policies and ordinances may vary from state to state.
