Happy (dog) Father’s Day. To be fair dogFather, I still get miffed when there’s dog hair in my food and I’m not sure I could handle newf sloob on my favourite dress.

I never imagined my hubby would embrace the dogs the way he has. He’s is just as (if not more) in love with these dogs than I am. He’s Felix’s best buddy (a position that has me GREEN with envy, since the position was usurped from me.)

I just love this! My dad..so the girls’ Grandpa is much the same way. Over the last 3 years he has went from not even knowing how to pet a dog without scaring it to petsitting for a week, cleaning up accidents, and spontaneously buying dog gifts. It’s great!

Oh, I loves that!! Hey, I think you KNEW that he had it in him, or you would have never even had a second date. Dog “moms” know. they can ‘smell’ it (bol) and sense it in another person. I thinks you knew he would come around, cause that’s just the kind of guy he is.

LOL! It sounds almost like my husband. He’s not quite at all these places yet, but we’ve only been together a little over three years. When we first moved in together, he thought the dogs would be outside dogs. That was almost a deal-breaker. But we came to a reasonable compromise. No dogs in the dining or living room, and no dogs allowed on the furniture. Since I spend most of my time in the office room, it was a compromise I could live with. And I like how clean my furniture looks now that my hairy dogs are not allowed on. Although, I do make an exception when he goes out of town.

So very sorry for your loss. I love all the special things you’re doing, though, in his memory. Precious.

It’s so hard, isn’t it, losing a family member after so many years. My sister said good bye to her 16 year old kitty the day after Plunger left. Time heals all wounds, yes, but it doesn’t seem to plug the holes.

I tried those promises you can’t talk about to see if Hubby would let me get another dog. he said that I was lying and I wouldn’t pay up and he was right.

Mine is pretty good with the dogs except for the walking part. He rarely walks with us.
