Sleeping With the Enemy

There are few different things that are extremely disturbing about the post that you are about to see.

First of all we have this:

At first glance you see a dog toy and you are correct. But this is an indoor dog toy. Indoor dog toys are not suppose to go outside. That’s a golden rule.

On second glance you may have noticed that this is a bunny dog toy. If you recall, bunnies are currently the enemy and should not be seen in the yard, or in the garden.

This next picture you are about to see is even more disturbing.

What’s the deal with this? I guess we’re into causally lounging around with toys that resemble the enemy now? Or maybe we’re creating a safe haven for Peter Frickin Cottontail.

Are we sending him the message that bunnies are perfectly welcome here?

Oh, united we stand.

I see.

That’s perfect Leroy.

Let’s just friend the friend of the enemy.

This type of behavior is really going to hammer home our message to Peter.

See that ribbon of slobber from bunny's ear to Leroy? I feel quite confident that until you showed up Leroy was executing some sort of bunny torture wherein he chews on bunny's head. You simply can't allow these things to be caught on camera you know. What if Leroy wants to run for office someday??

I don't let my boys take their toys outside either, mainly because I know they won't bring them back in.

I think Leroy is far more devious than you give him credit for. He IS sending a message to Peter Frickin Cottontail and that is 'come on in, we's all friends here.' And then when little Peter hops on in.....BAM Newfie pounce.

You know it's true.

The drool bath would be enough to keep a rabbit from coming close.
