Welcome to the Back to School show!
For those who are new to the blog, each year when the kids go back to school we have a little bit of a fashion show where Gracie shows off some of her back to school fashions. I actually almost forget about this year because the summer went by so fast, but thanks to some awesome friends, they reminded me about it!
Last year Gracie walked the runway with Sherman but since Sherman is on restricted activity we had to change things up a bit for this year.
We would of had Leroy walk with Gracie down the runway but seeing as he took out the chalkboard easel when he tried to run under it, I opted to feature them each separately.
So this year we didn’t have much back to school shopping to do. The kids needed school supplies of course, but as far as clothes they have a ton so we just had to get a few items.
When Gracie and I went shopping it appeared to me as though the 80″s may be making a comeback.
Gracie’s diggin that.
Watch out 3rd grade.
And below we have Sherman sporting the color gray on his back end. It appears as though gray is the in color for brown newfs.
They achieve this awesome look by rubbing against freshly painted walls.
All the brown dogs are doing it these days.
And here we have Gracie once again.
This time she is sporting the super cool dog fashion sweater along with a jean skirt with a ruffled bottom.
Unfortunately the sweater was not available with a Newfoundland dog on it.
Gracie asked the saleslady and she said nope.
I think they need to rethink their target market.
And here we have Leroy sporting the look of the pissed off dog.
Apparently if you talk about ball tapping, Leroy refuses to cooperate for anything for a few days.
The nerve! (Note:this hat is not suitable to wear to elementary school)
And here we have Gracie once again sportin the athletic look.
She’s a girl of many talents.
And the only thing I could get Bobby to participate in was allowing me to borrow his shoes and backpack for a few moments, but I was not allowed to let the dogs go anywhere near those items.
Sixth graders are so uncooperative.
That concludes our Back to School show this year.
I’m super bummed that the kids are headed back to school.
Normally I would be jumping for joy, but not so much this year. I loved having them home all day and the thought of getting back into the school routine makes my stomach turn.
They’re excited though, and that’s what matters.
