I missed my What I Did This Week While You Were Gone And I Was Home post last week.
That’s because I really didn’t do all that much.
This week isn’t much different but I did do more posts than last week so that’s a step in the right direction.
On the blog this week we talked about how I called the AKC HelpDog Helpline and got instructions on how I could try and get Leroy to stop barking while I was outside with him.
I told you how my whole world stopped last week because I lost my favorite dog brush. I will have you know, I have not lost it this week…..yet.
I talked about how I do my best to keep Sherman and Leroy in shape and not fat, and how we are not perfect but we try out best.
And last but not least I talked about the puppy days with Sherman and Leroy and shared lots of puppy pictures! I loved taking that trip down memory road.
In more personal news this week:
Gracie had something up with her eye. It started on Monday and her lower lid was swollen and then it began to turn black and blue. We tried warm compresses and cold compresses and it kept getting worse. I was assuming she might have a stye in it, but when it wasn’t better by Thursday I took her in to the doctor. $60 later, it was a stye after all.
I only made dinner once this week. I needed a mental break. Preparing and cooking is stressful.
In dog news, Sherman is still doing his hydrotherapy twice a week and all is going great. I couldn’t ask for anything better right now. Sherman’s muscle mass will be measured in a few weeks and I’ll be sure to give you a better update when I have some numbers.
Leroy got another horrible ear infection, but I may have finally found something to get the job done and that entails a whole other post.
I played with the cowboy hat a lot this week too. It was a great stress reliever and this is my favorite picture of the week.
There’s a few more from this photo shot but I’ll keep you in suspense until next week.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Today’s post is highlighting PetsMove.org. I’ve talked it about it before and if anyone is looking to track their dog’s activity this is the place to be. I’ve been tracking Sherman and Leroy’s activity for a few weeks now and I really look forward to logging in everyday and seeing how many paws they have earned. There’s also a lot of great groups being added everyday. Sherman is now apart of the Rehab Warriors group, which is a group for dogs who are recovering from an injury. We’re the only Newfies that have joined PetsMove right now and we would love to have others in there with us, so if your interested you can learn more about joining here. Also, there’s not many Ohio folks in there either, so if your from Ohio, let’s go!
