Who’s Going To Break The Bad News To The Dogs?

Happy first day of spring!

Could it be that all of our snow is going to melt today and not come back for 8 months?

Has Sherman and Leroy taken their last bite of a snow slushy this year?

Is that it for snow covered faces and frozen slobber strings?

Can I put away my hand warmers?

Is it officially mud season?

Can the dogs blow their coat now?

Is it time for the ticks to come out of hiding?

Should I have the air conditioner serviced?

Break out the cooling pads?

Dust off the fans?

Call the pool boy out to service Sherman’s pool?

Paint my toe nails and break out the flip flops?

Is spring really here and winter’s going to end soon?

Could it be that we got off that easy this year?

Who’s going to break this horrible news to Sherman and Leroy?

I’m not doing it.

Harley and Charlie are in the same boat... They are going to miss their daily snow rolls.

At least we did get an end of season storm as a last hurrah! Good luck to you in the upcoming muddy season!

We are keeping it quiet around here for as long as we can too. Luckily for the dogs, Mother Nature seems to be on their side for now, and there's no sign of spring, other than some melting snow, yet.

Sadly I think they already knew. It's us humans that were hopeful winter hadn't abandoned us.

I think you're right. Sherman and Leroy were clinging on to the snowfall last week.

We are sad here too. Winter was such a bust this year, but we hope next year it will be cold and snowy! Let spring happen so we can move closer to the next, hopefully better winter!
