What the hell is a flooger you ask?
Well here is the definition of a flooger taken from the Urban Dictionary:
a long, stringy strand of dog saliva, often containing fur. Seen dripping from the corners of the mouth, flipped over the nose, adhering to the walls, ceiling or wiped on articles of human clothing. Size, often directly proportional to the size of the dog (St. Bernard/Newfoundland, etc.), may be a source of great pride.
Aka..slobber, goober, slime, drool.
In case you have never seen a flooger, Sherman was nice enough to demonstrate:

Then when it reaches the ground it falls off and the process starts all over again.
FYI…I once had a flooger land in my mouth. I was taking Sherman for a walk, he shook his head, the flooger went in mouth. Why I was walking with my mouth open is besides me, but when it happened I first looked around to see if anyone else saw, then I spit it out, how wrong is that?

We have one about an inch from the ceiling in our family room with fur in it. We don't clean that one up just so we can show people how talented Izzy is.

I think you should have shown Plunger being flogged as he is victim to this Newfie trait. Actually I remember being flogged in my house.....it was the flogger on the wood floor and I baled one too many times:)

That is so funny! You really have to love dogs to get that close to a flooger! One of my dogs would use my pant leg to wipe off her flooger.

My dogs (Cardigan Corgis) don't get Floogers per se, but when they watch us eat dinner, they do create what we call Drool Lakes...big puddles of watery spit that has dripped out while they hope for a bite! It is quite gross to get up from the table and step in it with a bare foot.
