The challenge is to look back at the past year and reflect on your blog
and possibly set goals for the year upon us.
The authors of Go Pet Friendly and Will My Dog Hate Me have done this as a
Q & A session with some really great questions.
1. When did you begin your blog?-We began our blog in April 2010.
2. What was your original purpose in starting a blog?-To share my stories and daily antics of my 2 goofy Newfys.
3. Is your current purpose the same?- I started off just wanting to write just about Sherman and Leroy but I found out that I also like to include my children at times since they are a huge part of the boys life and mine.
While the main purpose will always be the same I feel I may want to branch out more.

4. Do you blog on a schedule or as the spirit moves you?- I try to blog on a schedule Monday-Friday, and sometimes on Saturday. I like to prewrite my posts on Sunday night for the following week so I can spend the rest of the week visiting our friends blogs. Sometimes that doesn’t always happen because things will come up during the week that I just have to write about, for instance, The Concussion, so other post will get pushed back or in some cases written but never published.
5. Are you generating income from you blog? If so how? If not currently do you hope to in the future? How?-Although my purpose of this blog is not to make money, if I could earn money doing something that I enjoy so much I would. That has yet to be determined.
6. What do you like most about blogging in general and your blog in particular?-The thing I like most about blogging is meeting so many new and fun people that share the same love of pets and interests as I do. I also like to be able to express myself and my personality in my blog. I love being able to share my stories with others rather than just myself. I love being able to see my dogs pictures everyday at this site and to read other people’s reactions.
7. How do you see your blog changing/growing in 2011?- That’s tough one. I believe we have already accomplished so much in 2010 that’s it is hard to imagine it getting any better in 2011.
This year I plan to expand my topics by including a lot of posts about our journey in the dog show world and I would also like to write about things that I encounter as a pet owner, mostly in regards to my pet’s health.
We also hope to share many more stories of Leroy and his daily antics, of course not at my expense!
