Show season for us if officially underway!
Woo-hoo!
Leroy had his first show of the year Sunday.
Yes. Sunday. Easter Sunday.
Let me explain.
When I entered the show about a month ago, I had no idea I was entering a show on Easter Sunday.
I entered and never looked at the calendar.
It wasn’t until 2 weeks before the show that I realized it was on Easter.
Great. Now what am I going to do?
After days and days of deliberating with my husband, and when I say days I mean the whole 2 weeks, we decided to send Leroy with our handler to the show. I don’t do this often, but I was kind of in a pickle.
So Leroy spent his first night away from home without us.
He was gone for a whole 24 hours, and it was the longest 24 hours of my life!
Anyway, he was fine. A bit bitter, but fine, and he took Reserves at the show, which is 2nd.
Not bad for his first show of the year.
We have a 2 day show this weekend, a 1 day show the weekend after that and then another 2 day show the weekend after that.
I have no idea what the plan is after that because I can’t think that far ahead, but as soon as I know I will let you know!

WooHoo for Leroy!!! It must have been a very long 24 hours for Sherman as well!!! Was Leroy sad to spend the night away from you?? I think my girlz would freak out. Seriously. Freak. Out.
