Leroy …..aka Badd Badd Leroy Brown…. turns 3.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!
With all the head butting that the two of us do I can not believe that we are both still alive.
At least me more than Leroy.
I remember the first day that we brought Leroy home.
We picked him up from the airport, and made the short drive home without him even making a peep.
I was concerned.
That is until we got home, took him out of the car, and set him down on the ground.
The little SOB took off running down the driveway and we almost lost him!
I picked him up and he pissed on me.
It was at that very moment in time that he earned his name.
Badd Badd Leroy Brown.
Leroy has had no problem living up to his name.
He knows who he is and what he is all about.
Before Leroy I never exactly understood the phrase “Goofy Newfy”
Every Newf that I have ever been owned by before him has been the laid back, “Velcro Newf”
Leroy has shown me what a true “Goofy Newfy” is like.
Sure we have our own little issues and he can certainly piss me off.
After all, he has contributed to 20 out of the 30 gray hairs on my head.
He knocks me down, he head butts me, he jumps on me, he talks back, and trips me on purpose.
He eats things that he shouldn’t and gives me anxiety attacks.
But ohhhhh…he loves me, almost as much as I love him.
He makes me laugh, he makes me giggle, he makes me shake my head in disbelief of his beauty.
He invites me up on his couch so I can cuddle under his massive chest while he rests his head on my shoulder.
He gives the best Newfy Hugs
So Leroy, my Goofy Newfy….
