Welcome to our 2nd annual Christmas Tree Pull List!
If you’re looking for a festive way to kick of the holiday season you might want to check out your local Christmas tree farm and see what type of fun events kick-off at the end of November.
There’s a handful of Christmas tree farms across that the country that will proudly be hosting events that include dogs, specifically Newfoundlands, who have volunteered their time to help haul your Christmas tree!
This is a great chance for you to get out and support your fellow Newfies, and if you’ve been looking to get a Newfoundland, this is a great way to see the breed in action and talk to many educated people who can help answer any questions that you might have.
Here’s a shortlist of some of the Christmas tree pull events that I’ve found going on over the next month:

This is what I’ve found advertised so far if you know of any others please let me know and I will add it to the list.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to attend one of these events make sure to support the regional club by providing the Newfie who hauls your tree a tip or make a donation to the club. These Newfies are working hard for other Newfies!

Love this idea! It looks so "Christmas"
My Golden Life

I don't know of any farms in SC doing this; but I do remember that back in 2003, when hubby and I said our goodbyes to my sweet Kissy on that first weekend of December, there was a Newfie Christmas parade in Savannah, GA. I don't know if it was a Newfie Club for certain hosting it - I was admiring them from a distance because I was too emotional - but I would imagine so.

What a cool idea! I'd love to go to a farm that did that, and there is even one not too far from us!
