If I Only Had A Brain
Why what would you do if you had a brain Leroy?
(Leroy)
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin’ with the flowers
Consultin’ with the rain
And my head I’d be scratchin’
While my thoughts were busy hatchin’
If I only had a brain
I’d unravel any riddle
For any individ’le
In trouble or in pain

The ocean’s near the shore
I could think of things I never thunk before

If I only had a brain
**No Newfoundland dogs or scarecrows were injured during the making of this short story and while Leroy has an abundance of courage, and a heart as huge as they come, the size of his brain remains a mystery to those of us who know him best.

Leroy actually looks adorable as the Scarecrow. Did he really pose for pictures as well as it looks in the photos? I absolutely love this!
I never expected you to also add in the song (with your and Leroy’s own words) and to it so cleverly (I was singing along the whole time).

I knew I had about a 3 minute time limit of him sitting before he actually laid down so I tried to move as quick as I could! He is such a good boy!
