Today is Sherman’s 4th Birthday!
I can not believe that he is 4. The time has just flown by.
Sherman has brought so much joy and love to our house.

He started off as such a cute little puppy:
And then into a “handsome man”, as I like to call him:
Sherman and I have a tremendous bond and it is actually a joke in our house.
When they kid are asking the famous question-Who’s your favorite in this house mom? My husband will say -who do think? and the kids will echo…Sherman!
When Leroy came into our house I was afraid that our bond would weaken because I would have to pay attention to him too. I remember many nights laying down next to Sherman and whispering in his ear, “don’t worry Shermie, you’ll always be my baby.” ….He knows that now.
Many, many people have told me that I need to “cut the cord” with him and that he is way too much of a “mommas boy.” So what? He’s my baby!!
So to my baby I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANDSOME MAN!!!!

Sherman! Happy Birthday buddy! Gosh you looked like somebody glued too much fur on you when you were a baby. That sure is one poofy pup. But now you are a proud handsome grown up doggie. Slobbers,mangoP.S. The only dogs who think being a momma's boy is a bad thing are those that aren't, am I right?

Happy Belated B-day, Sherman! You grew from a ball of fluff to a majestic dog. The Newfies and Bernese look alot alike (except for the coloring.) Are you guys related in some way?
