I have been following this story since it began and it truly breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes.
I have read the story a hundred times and I just don’t get it.

I stand behind my breed.
To read the police report on this incident you can go here. It is disgusting.
My questions about all this are:
Why in the hell did the dog have to be shot 4 times? 4 TIMES!!!!
There was a dog and children playing in the PARTIALLY enclosed yard where the dog ran to get AWAY from the officer, why didn’t they feel threatened by this so called “vicious dog?”
The person who called to report the loose dog, said they were afraid the dog was going to get hit by a car because CHILDREN were chasing it. CHILDREN were chasing a vicious dog?…Interesting.
I wonder if this officer sleeps good at night.
