The Newf Of Sleepy Hollow

There once was a Newf who lived in the small town of Sleepy Hollow.

He lived there with his little friend named Jack.

Jack was different from the other residents of Sleepy Hollow because when he was younger he was involved in a small hunting accident that led to him being decapitated.

Jack’s head was never found but a local doctor was able to stitch on a pumpkin that looked very similar to Jack’s regular head.

Since Jack was odd-looking he was rejected by the townspeople except for a goofy looking dog named Leroy.

One day Jack and Leroy were out exploring the woods of Sleepy Hollow. Leroy was carelessly running through the thick woods and accidentally ran into a stray tree branch.

Jack once again lost his head.

At first, Leroy was a bit terrified because he had a headless Jack riding on his back.

 

OMG! JACK LOST HIS HEAD!

But he quickly pulled it together and Leroy and Jack set off to find Jack’s head.

They looked and looked and finally, Jack stumbled across it.

“Found it!” He yelled to Leroy.

Jack carefully held onto his head and they headed back to town to find the doctor who had stitched Jack’s head on before but the doctor was out to lunch.

Leroy prayed that the doctor would come back from lunch soon so that Jack could get his back on again because it was kind of creeping him out.

They took a little nap…..

And waited a little more……

But unfortunately, the doctor never returned.

The pair headed back home. Jack still holding his head in his tiny hand.

Leroy and Jack both accepted the fact that Jack would forever be holding his head in his right hand forever and they lived happily ever after 🙂

p.s. It doesn’t look like much but this doll was a ginormous pain in my butt. His arm wouldn’t stay up.

His head kept rolling off. Leroy wouldn’t stay still. I almost went out of my mind. To make it worse, because I’m a serious procrastinator, I had one day to get this done and that day happened to be extremely windy.

 Jack weighs less than 2 pounds, hence the reason it wasn’t cooperating, but the second and third picture in this post made it ALL worth it.

p.p.s. Get it, Jack? As in Jack-O-Lantern. 🙂
