Tell The Weatherman To Say That To My Face

_DSC0675

It’s a frigid 7 degrees here in Ohio today.

Weatherbug tells me it feels like -12 and that my nose hairs will freeze immediately upon exposure.

The furnace is struggling to keep up. It may make it the rest of the day. It may not.

The weatherman warns to not leave pets out for a prolonged periods of time for the next several days.

I passed this important message onto to Sherman and Leroy this morning when they both refused to come inside after breakfast.

They told me to tell the weatherman to say that to their face.

The struggle is real with these two.

BOL, I have had those discussions with a dog myself. You know it's bad when they get up, turn their backs to you and lay down again. That dog did not have the coat or constitution of Sherman or Leroy so I went and got the leash and drug his frozen butt indoors. He must have been grateful, he never left the heat register the rest of the day. ღ

My dog (part malamute/husky) can go out all he likes. Alone.

Barley is the same way. She's been loving bounding through the snow. She gets cranky if I don't take her out in it, so we both put on our boots and I still have to remind her that we eventually need to turn around and go home.
