The Silence Of The Newfies

_dsc01941

Sometimes we go a little silent here on the blog.

The silence can be due to many things, such as lack of anything to say, too many things to say, illness, kids, work, laundry or just about anything else.

I can assure you that my lack of posting over the last week or so has nothing to do with any of those.

We have actually been doing a lot of behind the scenes work for the blog.

We’ve been out and about enjoying the Fall weather in full force.

I’ve taken well over 500 pictures in the last 2 weeks and I promise you, there is a story to go long with each of them.

Well…… there’s not 500 stories, that would be a little excessive, but there is story to go along with each of our outings and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.

First, I have to edit the pictures and then I have to write the story.

But first I have to take more pictures this week.

I’m on limited time guys.

The leaves are changing every day and pretty soon they’re going to be gone.

I’ve done a lot of  trips with Leroy so far and this week I plan on spending some time with Sherman.

Early in the week is going to be prime weather for Sherman to be out and about so I have to make the most of it.

For now I’ll leave you with a sneak peek of some the pictures I’ve gotten.

I’ve been a little obsessed with train stations and railroad tracks but I promise you that there is a rhyme to my reason here.  You’ll just have to wait for it.

Yesterday Roy and I traveled out to my sister’s house.

It was a gorgeous day with blue skies, puffy white clouds and just enough chill in the air to make Fall come alive.

I smiled the entire drive out there and back because it was such a picture perfect Fall day.

Leroy had fun too.

If you follow us on Instagram you’ll see some of the pictures up there as I edit.

You’ll also see our adventures as they happen in Instagram Stories too, so if you’re interested check us out there BUT I’ll be back in a few days to start sharing more! Promise!

Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom

Tuesday 18th of October 2016

Except for Shadow's birthday post, I've been pretty silent on the blog lately, too. It's just been crazy around here between all of hubby's doctor appointments, studying for my vet assistant course tests, and trying to keep Ducky sufficiently exercised without making Shadow feel left out. Aarrggg!

Looking forward to your postings!!!

Life can sometimes interfere with blogging, in fact...for all of us. No worries-glad there are no catastrophes. Really looking forward to more wagnificent autumn pics with the boys. There's nothing quite like autumnal light with blue skies!

Great fall pics on your post... We also enjoy the colors of THE event of the year...and your pics on Insta, too! Editing is really annoying but with two dogs noses on my upper leg I will even love this part of taking pics.
