Cleaning Up The Dog Stains Of Summer

**This post is sponsored by Spot Shot® Pet Instant Carpet Stain & Odor Eliminator but My Brown Newfies only shares products and information that we think is of interest to our readers.

As summer winds down here I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some fun memories the boys and I had.

It wasn’t wild and crazy like some dogs may have experienced, it was a little more chilled but we had fun and Newfie messes were made.

I think one of all of the favorite activities was rides in the Jeep.

I’ve been wanting a Jeep for many years and one reason was that I wanted the boys to enjoy the ride that comes with a Jeep.

I wanted them to feel the wind blow through their fur

They’ve never really experienced that before because they always rode in the back area of the Suburban so to see them be able to enjoy that was everything to me.

Picking ideal days to do that was tricky with the rain and extreme heat that filled many of our summer days but we made sure that the conditions were just right for them not to be too hot are get too wet!

They broke the Jeep in perfect Newfie style with a little slobber on the carpet and Leroy managed to get one paw completely muddy when out for a walk in the park one day.

He found the one and only puddle and proudly splattered his paw in it without my knowledge and proceeded to track that mud into the Jeep.

Thankfully, I had some of my trusty Spot Shot® Pet Instant Carpet Stain & Odor Eliminator on hand at home which took care of the muddy mess.

After that, I decided that it would probably be best to just keep some Spot Shot in the car for and future accidents.

My next favorite activity was pool days.

Sherman was always so excited for his pool and he actually got to use it more this summer than last.

Leroy also enjoyed a few pool days for the first time but I had to fill the pool with ice instead of water to make it inviting for him.

I had been wanting to this since the beginning of summer but by the time I decided to take the plunge, I could only find one small pink pool so that’s what I got and Leroy made it work.

He was so excited that after he was done crunching 1/2  the cubes he curled up inside it and took a nap!

The boys also enjoyed many days of their favorite frozen dog treats, which even though they were given inside, a lot of it ended up in their fur and brought inside on my brand new carpet throws.

Spot Shot® Pet Instant Carpet Stain & Odor Eliminator was there for that stain rescue too!

In case you’re wondering, I normally have a total of 4 Spot Shot products stashed around my house designated just for dog stains. They are usually in the rooms where the Newfies make the biggest messes. I don’t trust my Newfie stains with anyone else!

If your house is looking for a new carpet stain and odor eliminator to help clean up your dog stains of summer, Spot Shot products are available at Walmart, click here to find a location near you and don’t forget to grab your coupon!

We hope that everyone had a great summer, there are still several weeks left to get out there and have some fun too!

I’m hoping to take Leroy for a few more rides in the Jeep before the snow starts to fall, and who knows, I might even bundle up and take the top off for him in December!

What a great photo of Leroy lounging in the ice pool. With our endless supply of 90+ degree days, just seeing it cooled me off!
