While I’ve always tried to stay up to date on all the new fun and cool dog toys, treats, and basic dog products, I’ve slacked a little bit in the young dog department for the last several years.
With the addition of Odin and Finn we’ve been exploring a lot of other toys, gadgets, dog treats the past few months.
Odin thought that it would be a good idea to share some of his favorite items with all his friends so each month we’ll be sharing some of our favorite finds.

Favorite Dog Treats
Oh my dog! These are Odin’s new favorite treats that we discovered last month.
They come in different flavors but we tried out the beef.
It’s like beef brittle and super crunchy.

Favorite Dog Toy

We’re still testing out this toy but as soon as Odin and Finn get the hang of it, I think that it will be a big hit and a great toy for summer.
Favorite Dog-Related Gadget
This isn’t really a gadget but I’m not sure what to describe it as right now so it will go in this category.
I’m going to be sharing a lot more information on this over the next month but I wanted to introduce you to it now.

Favorite Training Tool
This has been my go-to training tool with Finn.
I use it for several things such as jumping on Odin, barking at people on our walks, and eating dog poop.
It’s a lot more effective than yelling NO! several times a day and it actually works.
When Finn is doing an undesirable behavior, I just give the Pet Corrector a little spray and it gets his attention enough to stop the behavior.
We took this with us when we went for a walk the other day and the first time Finn barked at a passerby, we sprayed it and that was that.
No more barking!
Favorite Grooming Tool
This is a product that I wish I would have tried years ago because it’s a bath changer.
I first learned about this product about a year ago from Molly the Newfie. (She has a great video on it that you can check out here. )
This is going to cut your bathing time in half.
It hooks to your hose and there’s no need to wet your dog before.
You fill the container up with your shampoo, connect to your hose, and start bathing.
It gets the coat wet all the way down to the skin, distributes the shampoo, and then you rinse!
It takes less than 15 minutes!
I’ve used it twice on Odin and I love it!

The grooming kit looks easy, but I have a feeling Ducky would have a snit fit if I tried to use it on her.
Those ChuckIt! toys look like they could be a lot of fun! I might get one!
BTW: After I read your last Favorite 5 post with the lickimats, I tried to order another one. Back then HyperPet was in process of a redesign so there none available. I tried again the other day and they should be delivered today. Those lickimats have been a great stress reliever for ME because I know that Ducky will eat her meals off of them when she's anxious. I used to get so stressed when she and Shadow refused to eat out of their regular bowls. I wish I'd known about lickimats back then!

That video was great with Molly! OMG....I maybe laughed a lil too loud. I'm super excited to try this product and now I'm sad because I didn't wait long enough and could have bought this thru your link. My Gemma will def try to eat the water as she does when we use the hose to fill the pool. Should be a fun time!
