Newfoundland And Corgi Dress Up As Ghosts

There’s a ghost photoshoot trend going around on TikTok and of course, I had to try it with Finn and Odin.

I knew it would be a challenge but as you all know,  I’m always up for having some Halloween fun with my dogs!

The first challenge was getting white sheets.

I’ve never had white sheets.

Because white gets dirty and it shows.

Having Newfoundlands, white is not an option in most homes.

Having a Newfoundland and a Corgi, white is still not an option in most homes.

I almost bought a white quilt this summer but I flashed to fall and all I saw was muddy paw prints and a Corgi rubbing his belly across the quilt and I quickly opted for the medium grey.

Anywho, I headed to Walmart to get the white sheets.

The next day I carefully drew and cut out the eye holes and nose holes for Odin’s sheet.

I did the same for Finn but also cut out ear holes and I used the pillowcase since a full sheet would have been way too big.

Of course, none of my holes were the right size, and any adjustments that I made just made things worse.

The photo shoot went as expected.

Odin wasn’t a huge fan of having the sheet over his head and wanted to play with it and eat it.

Treats brought him back to reality long enough for him to sit still for a few minutes and take on his ghostly duties.

Finn was Finn.

It’s hard to get a picture of Finn on a normal day let alone get him to sit still with a prop or costume on.

He didn’t mind the sheet as much as he minded having to sit still for a fraction of a second.

The first sheet he also rubbed in dog poop.

They might not be perfect photos but these Newfoundland and Corgi ghosts are totally perfect for me.

We all had fun and this made me laugh almost as much as the antler photoshoot with Sherman and Leroy.

I hope they made you smile too!

And if they did, feel free to spread the smile with your friends!

Here’s each of their TikTok’s if you wanted to see how they ended up too!

p.s. You can rent these adorable ghosts to haunt your house starting in October. They request to be paid in peanut butter cookies dipped in carob.

The boys look absolutely adorable!! Ducky is not a fan of costumes at all, or if raincoats, winter coats, or even towels to dry her off. So, I just don't try any more.

So fun! My scnottie would never sit still for a costume like that. My kids are older so we've never trick or treated with him, I suspect he would only understand the "treat" part!
