If you are like myself and are searching for your holiday spirit, here is something that just might nudge you towards the right direction.
Social Media for Social Good, a Holiday Event for Pets is a wonderful blogging event created by Two Little Cavaliers / Pamper Yourself in Pink to help spread the holiday joy to animals.
The event will benefit the blogging community and the animals that we all care for so deeply.
The event is similar to some other blogging events that you may have seen or been a part of in the past where bloggers get together and offer a cash prize to the winner of a Giveaway for liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter. This event is similar, only the cash prize will be split between the winner and an animal charity of their choice. (Charity must be 501c3 and have a track record of saving animals.) It can be a local shelter, canine cancer, service dog organization or even a wildlife preservation organization. The choice is yours.
Bloggers can sign up to promote their Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter Links, and their Google+ pages for just $10. The $10 will be split in the following way, $6 to the winner’s charity and $4 towards the winners cash prize. The payment is processed through a chip in widget so everyone can see how much money has been raised.
