Today I have to call mischief on Sherman.
It’s not often that Sherman makes the blog as the mischief maker, after all, he is an angel sent from above, but the other night he decided to play mischief maker in the middle of the night.
To make a long story short, I have recreated the scene of what I saw at the foot of my bed when I woke up tossing and turning Saturday night:
A short little ghost staring at me!
The only logical thing to do was to take refuge under the covers of the bed, where I curled up in the fetal position and nearly suffocated myself because I had the covers wrapped so tightly around my head, because bed covers protect you from ghosts, and then I poked at my husband until he woke up.
“There’s a ghost at the foot of the bed.” I whispered.
“It’s Sherman. He sits there all the time and stares at you.” my husband replied.
A little hesitant, I unwrapped myself from the plethora of covers, sat up, rubbed my eyes, and sure enough, it was Sherman sitting there staring at me.
A little creepy yes, but the only logical explanation for this creepy behavior is:
Sherman is protecting me from the ghosts who want to be sitting at the foot of my bed at night staring at me.

Scaring away those monsters under the bed as well. He COULD have just joined you in bed, so we think he has manners.

LOL! I must admit it's kind of creepy to think he is staring at you all of the time, but I have to concur. He's the Ghost Watcher. Isn't it nice that he wants to protect you this way? :)
P.S. I don't believe my dogs stare at me. My cat on the other hand??? Well...
