Pooper Scooper Genius In Disguise

Last week my husband was about to go cut the grass in the backyard but before he started he asked me if I could pick up the dog poop and I obliged.

I did my best but the yard was covered in leaves and I knew I was bound to miss a few piles.

I mean that’s expected. No one can find every single pile of dog poop when it’s hidden under a blanket of leaves.

Apparently I missed 5 piles of poop on this day and my husbands shoe found all 5 piles.

Every time he would step in a pile he would call me over and point.

Then I would laugh and go back and get the pooper scooper and clean it up.

It was a vicious cycle and each time he would call me over and point he would get a little madder and I would laugh a little harder.

By the fourth time he was not a happy camper and me laughing was making it worse, but I couldn’t stop.

He ignored my laughing and began giving me lecture on how I should go about picking up poop when leaves were on the ground, which made me laugh even harder because I have been cleaning up poop for years now, in all 4 seasons.

I’m an all weather pooper scooper expert.

I know how to find poop in the leaves, and in the snow.

You use the scooper thing to move around the leaves, but sometimes you move the leaves over the poop which creates a problem, which is why, to be on the safe side in the autumn months, you carefully note where your dogs poop, and avoid all those areas within about a 12 inch radius when walking through the backyard.

Then, when your husband cuts the grass and goes over it with the brand new leaf vacuum that spoiled all your fall fun, you go back and clean up all the smashed piles of poop.

See, he thinks I’m mentally challenged but I’m really a genius in disguise.

**Disclosure-After he reads this I will probably have to go buy him a new pair of shoes-but see, I already know this. Again-genius.
