I totally lied last week when I said that I was going to give Leroy a break this year and not dress him up for Halloween.

I didn’t know I was lying when I wrote that post because I really thought I wasn’t going to dress him up but then I was going through old Halloween pictures of the kids and I came across Bobby dressed as Elvis and BAM!

That was all I needed.

Of course finding the Elvis costume that Bobby wore 5 years ago wasn’t easy because I put it in one of those “special” places where I would always know where it was, just in case I would ever want to put the costume on my future dog.

So it took me days to find it and I unfortunately couldn’t find the wig and glasses that came with the costume so I had to improvise with the guitar.

Then I went and did something else that I said I wasn’t going to do and I entered Leroy into a Halloween photo contest. I didn’t enter him into a pet Halloween photo contest I entered him in the LIVE With Kelly and Michael Halloween Contest, just for fun and because I was bored one morning.

A few hours after I sent his photo in I got a call from the show which totally freaked me out. They said we didn’t win the contest but they wanted to use his photo on the air and asked if I would sign an On Air Release form, so I did.

Then they said they would contact me when they were going to put the picture on the air so I was waiting to show you the picture until it aired, but I never received any notification and I couldn’t wait any longer to show you.

So I’m sorry that I lied to you…………..twice…………. but I couldn’t resist joining in the Halloween fun and I honestly think Leroy was a little bummed that he wasn’t dressing up this year!
