The Fisher Family. Coming To A State Near You

Meet the Fishers.

Josh, Bee, Lenox, Cruz, Tegan and Newfs-Ralphie and Boss.

Up until last month, this amazing family of 7 lived in California.

Now, they’re hitting the road and traveling the United States.

That’s right, Josh and Bee quit their jobs, sold their house and bought an RV to take their boys on the adventure of a lifetime.

Their journey started on August 2nd and as of today, they’ve been to 7 states.

A day late but hello ILLINOIS!! – – – We arrived in a whirlwind and haven’t stopped. We knew we had tickets to take Lenox to a Cubs game but didn’t realize what day it was and that the game is TONIGHT!! We unloaded the car from the RV, broke the karkaddy while rushing, got decked in our blue and red and we are on our way to Wrigley Field now. Thank goodness for a call from grandpa prompting us to look at the tickets!! And hey, if the kaddy doesn’t get fixed we might be driving a car and an RV across the states?? #gottajustlaugh Boss doesn’t care. #raisingFISHERmen #fishersbigadventure #illinois #landoflincoln #wrigleyfield #chicagocubs #amazingIL

The first state they traveled to was Utah followed by South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

Their journey so far has been filled with many great memories, tons of laughs, a few wrong turns, and a few RV issues but they’ve conquered it all with a smile on their face and a positive attitude.

Bee is homeschooling the boys while they travel and Josh is the driver.

Ralphie and Boss join them on most of their adventures attracting a huge crowd and spreading smiles across the United States. When the Newfs can’t tag along or the heat isn’t safe for them to be out and about exploring, they visit a local doggie daycare or spend the day with friends who have been kind enough to reach out and offer their home for the day.

Some of the fun things that they’ve done so far include experiencing the Sturgis Rally, riding in a hot air balloon, touring Lambeau Field, meeting Troop 384 MP BN from Fort Wayne Indiana, attending a Chicago Cubs game, white water rafting and touring Notre Dame.

Another fun activity the Fisher family does is they set up a Newfapalooza event in some of the states that they’re visiting! Newfapalozza is kind of like a Newfie party. Newfies and their people meet up in a certain location for the day and have a whole lot of fun.

The Fisher’s Newfapalooza’s don’t happen in every state but when they do happen, Josh and Bee talk with a local Newfie owner, find a good spot that’s on their route and then announce when it will be about a week ahead of time.

The next Fisher Newfapalozza will be held in northern Ohio and I’ll have more information on that in a separate post tomorrow so stay tuned!

If you would like to follow the Fisher family on their amazing adventure you can follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and their brand new website!

I think what they are doing is amazing and awesome. I can barely survive a weekend traveling with my family and Sherman and Leroy. That’s a lot of work!
