Welcome to our third edition of Odin’s & Finn’s weekly adventures!
This is just a recap of some of the fun things that we did this past week and a place where I can share a few of the hundreds of pictures that I took of the boys this week.
As always, I hope these pictures and stories bring a smile to your face and start your week off on a positive note!
Well, the typical Ohio weather caught up to this week as I knew it would so we didn’t get out on too many adventures this week.
We actually skipped one day of walks but we’re able to squeeze others in between raindrops.
Our walks consisted of our normal walking route and one trip to the ballpark on Friday.
I’m trying to get Finn out for separate walks because he’s really timid about walking without Odin and I want him to be a little more independent.
Sadly, another deer was hit by a car late Saturday night across from our house so I’m going to have to get creative with our walks again for this week.
We also got our pumpkins for carving and these pumpkins are the biggest ones that we have ever gotten!
The combined total is a little over 100 pounds!
We thought we might as well go big this year!
The new toys we ordered also arrived this week.
I ordered Finn a few new balls since he’s obsessed with them and I ordered Odin a refill on a few FurBallz.
If you remember, the FurBallz were a big and fun toy here, especially with Leroy.
We had over a dozen of them in just about every color offered.
Had.
We HAD over a dozen of them and then Finn shredded each and every single one. (I saved the purple one because it was Leroy’s favorite)
That’s when I realized that at this point in his life, Finn should not have fabric toys for an extended period of time.
I got these on a flash deal on Prime Day.
I got the XL yellow one and a white one.
I got white because it’s one of the few colors we’ve never had before and I thought that it would match well with Odin and Finn.
I know it’s going to get dirty and gross in no time. Lol.
The boys also enjoyed a bully stick this week and their stuffed carrots.
We’re going to try and get some of our leaves raked up this week in between rains and we’re also preparing for Halloween!
I’m still stuck on what Odin is going to be.
I had a plan and it faltered so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get anything spectacular pulled together this week BUT I can’t wait to see all of your dogs in costumes!
I did forget to share last week that Odin and Finn both got baths.
Neither are fond of being cleaned up.
Odin likes to be dried though but Finn would prefer to stay stinky and wet.
We hope everyone has a wonderful last week of October and that you get to enjoy some of it before the snow falls next month!

Aw, sweet!! Ducky would have probably destroyed a Furballz, too when she was Finn's age - remember all the King Wubbas she pulled apart? And I saved some of Callie's and Shadow's favorite toys, too. And definitely Radar's favorite tennis ball that he brought with him when he came to live with us last year. Ducky's been obsessed with her Kong Bounzer for the 6 years she's had it. It's the only toy she'll play with in the back yard.
